Art Deco diamond engagement ring. This diamond ring is crossover in style with the three largest diamonds set at an angle on the finger. These three diamonds are all old European cut and are held in place in multiple claw settings. A gold band wraps around from the back and is accented with two diamonds at the front, framing the three stones. The shoulder diamonds are lined in milgrain beading. This two-tone ring has a yellow D shape profile band. Circa 1930s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 7 total. 3 old European cut diamonds of approx 0.05 carats, 0.15 carats, and 0.05 carats, respectively. 4 single cut diamonds of approx 0.01 carats each. Calculated as 0.29 carats total, near colourless and eye clean, within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 18ct FINE PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold with the diamonds set into a platinum top.
