Elegant Art Deco double old European cut diamond engagement ring. This beauty dates to the early 20th century and features two antique cut diamonds set in 18 carat white gold claws. The diamonds are set in a twist or bypass design so that the diamonds are set across the finger at an angle. This style of ring, called toi et moi, or you and me, was popular during the late 19th and early 20th century and is meant to symbolise both people in the couple. It's a bit different to the solitaire diamond engagement ring and is very sweet!

The diamonds in this ring are old European cut diamonds. This cutting style was around in the late 1800s to early 1900s and produced diamonds with chunkier facet patterns when compared to modern round brilliant cut diamonds. They have a small table (top of the diamond), steeper crown (slope up to the table), and open culet (flat facet at the bottom of the diamond). These hand cut diamonds are beautiful and lively.
