Old European cut diamond single stone engagement ring. A single diamond is set in a lovely engraved gold mounting creating a classic design with a twist! The diamond is set in white claws high above a yellow band. The slender band is cathedral in design, with shoulders sloping down to create the shank. A scrolling engraved design adorns the top third of the band and the same design can be seen from the side. Under the claws, the side view, is heavily cut out allowing most of the diamond to be seen and creating a stunning design. Circa 1930s.

Diamond: old European cut, approx 4.5 mm. Calculated in setting as 0.36 carat, H / I colour, VS clarity within the limits of the mounting.

Not hallmarked, professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat gold. This ring has previously been reshanked, which would have caused the loss of any markings.

Size: UK - M.5; US - 6.5; EU - 16,9. This ring can be sized between K / 5.25 / 16 and P / 7.75 / 18. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 5.4 mm wide at diamond by 8.25 mm deep. 2.1 mm band.
