Old European cut diamond stud earrings set in platinum bezels. Old cut diamonds totalling 0.31 carats are hand faceted with with a blocky pattern, small tables and medium sized open culets. The solid sides of these platinum studs are tapered and closed, sitting low on the ear. Posts are double notched with scroll backs which fasten securely. The diamonds date to the early 20th century and the mountings are new.

Diamonds: 2, old European cut, measuring 3.4 mm each, weighed as 0.15 carats and 0.16 carats before setting, total 0.31 carats, G / H colour, VS2 and SI2 clarity.

Hallmarked for platinum on each of the posts. Stamped for platinum on the scroll backs.

Measure approx 4.1 mm wide by 3 mm deep.

Weigh 1.2 grams together, approx 0.6 grams each.
