Modern sterling silver bracelet set with a large rock crystal. This bangle bracelet sure does pack a punch! Sterling silver has been stylishly crafted into a tapered and curved design. This bracelet is narrowest by the crystal, highlighting the stone, and widens at the back. Set at the front in the centre is a large clear rock crystal. The crystal is set off the wrist in a bezel / rub over setting which is pierced in a repeating geometric triangle design that can be seen from the side. This clever bangle fastens under the crystal with a pinch and hook style closure. The fastening keeps this bangle clean and fuss free, very niffy!
Hallmarked with a full set of Swedish hallmarks for Alton (maker), 3 crowns (Swedish), S (sterling silver), T9 to date it to 1969.
Rock crystal is approx 14 mm in diameter.
Bracelet is 5.9 cm / 2.3 inches in diameter and 18 cm / 7 inches in circumference.
Measures 15.9 mm wide at stone, 6.65 mm at narrowest point, and 11.4 mm at the back. Crystal sits 13.6 mm tall off the wrist.
Weighs 22 grams.
