Baguette diamond wedding ring dating to the mid 20th century. Three diamonds are bar set across the finger with a straight cut baguette to the centre flanked by tapered baguettes. The diamonds are long and thin, curving gently around the finger. Bars, like short channels, hold the diamonds on each end and this ring has flat sides, a frame from which the diamonds sparkle. The shank continues to slope down to the shiny D shape profile band. Circa 1950s.
Diamonds: 3 total. Straight cut of approx 3.7 mm by 1.4 mm and two tapered cut of approx 4 mm by 1.4 mm by 1mm. Total as estimated within the limits of the mounting is 0.30 carats, G / H colour, VS1 / VS2 clarity.
Stamped PLAT, professionally tested and assessed as platinum.
Size: UK - O.5; US - 7.5 / 17,7. This ring can be sized between M.5 / 6.5 / 16,9 and Q.5 / 8.5 / 18,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 3 mm by 16 mm at diamonds by 3.9 mm deep at centre stone. This sits high off the finger as most mid 20th century rings do. It would best suit another high profile ring.
