1940s diamond engagement ring, a classic, set in 14k white gold. The style of this ring, with it's square setting and fishtail style claws, is very typical of the mid 20th century. The design highlights the centre diamond which sparkles from within it's setting. Adorning the shoulders is a beaded design, each set with two further diamonds. The shank slopes gently to form a D shape profile band. The illusion setting makes the diamond appear larger and the height of this ring makes it suitable for pairing easily with a band. Circa 1940s - 1950s.
