Sweet heart shaped diamond engagement ring. A single love heart shaped top is set with a solitaire round brilliant cut diamond. The diamond is set into the heart with an engraved design carved into the top of the setting to give the impression that the diamond takes up entire heart shape. An engraved beaded design adorns the shoulders and is lined in milgrain beading. . Completing this ring is a gold D shape shank. Circa 1940s, British in origin.
