Vintage heart shape diamond engagement ring. A single round brilliant cut diamond is set into a love heart shaped design. The star like engraved pattern around the diamond gives the impression of the diamond being larger than it's actual size. The heart is suspended above the finger in a scalloped edge setting. Sloping down the shoulders is a further engraved heart design. In it's current size, this diamond appears to be set in all white metal. The D shape gold band at the back completes the lovely Art Deco style of this ring. Circa 1940s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 1, round brilliant cut, approx 0.05 carats as estimated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped 18ct & PT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold with the diamond set into a platinum top.
