Old European cut diamond three stone ring in a gypsy designed band. This Victorian era ring is wide on the finger, curving gently in a low profile. Set into the top are three old European cut diamonds, each framed by an engraved star. These stunning diamonds are bright and clear and are set down into the band. The diamonds are an antique hand cut with smaller tables and open culets when compared to modern cut diamonds. This is exactly what we love! This band has clearly been loved and worn, slid on and off the finger causing some rubbing to the hallmarks, though they are still all present and visible! Circa 1890s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 3, old mine cut, approx 0.17 carat centre with 0.04 carat each sides to total 0.25 carats together, G / H colour, VS2/SI1 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1897.
