Vintage old cut diamond five stone ring. Five stunning diamonds are claw set in a graduated design. The diamonds are framed by a diamond cut, illusion style collet. As is typical of the time period, the diamonds are set in white metal on a band of yellow gold. The band is D shape in profile and pinches to a slender taper as it reaches the diamond set top. This ring is classic in style and easy to wear. It stacks well with wedding bands making it an ideal engagement ring. Each of the diamonds has a smaller table with a steeper crown as compared to modern diamonds. We'd pair it with an eternity ring for a super sparkly look! Circa 1930s - 1940s, British in origin.
