Bold single stone garnet ring dating to the 1970s. A large deep red garnet is set into a Victorian style design. A simple scale design is carved into the collet at the base of each claw. The wide ring features flattened shoulders with taper at toward the back. This is a bolder style ring which would be suited for a man or woman. Circa 1970s, British in origin.

Hallmarked for 9 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham 1973.
