Diamond and sapphire toi et moi ring. Two large round cut gemstones are set within a swirl of rose cut diamonds. The larger gemstones are set in an illusion style mounting and held with multiple claws. They are at an angle to each other with loops of smaller diamonds curving around them. Around the edges of the smaller rose cut diamonds is very fine milgrain beading. The gemstones are all mounted in a white top with a yellow gold D shape profile shank. Circa 1930s, French in origin.

This ring appears to have had work done on it with the sapphire being replaced or reset, and it has been reshanked. Circa 1930s ring, date of previous work - remounting and reshanking - unknown.

Diamonds: 1 round brilliant of approx 3.3 mm, calculated in setting as 0.14 carats, G/H colour, VS clarity. 1 blue sapphire of a similar size. 14 small roughly cut and rose cut diamonds.

Sapphire: 1, measures approx 3.9 mm

Not hallmarked, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.
