Vintage diamond solitaire engagement ring. An early round brilliant cut is set in a sculpted style mounting. The diamond is carefully held in a six claw setting which flares out at the base of the claws. The shoulders are engraved with wide columns which flare to meet the diamond. From the side the metalwork holding the shoulders and supporting the diamond can be seen in it's arches and ridged details. Circa 1930s - 1940s. French in style.

Diamond: early round brilliant cut, approx 4.7 mm, approx 0.42 carats, I colour, VS2 clarity. Graded as mounting permits.

Not hallmarked, tested and assessed as 18 carat gold.

Size: UK - L 1/2; US - 6; EU - 16.5. This ring can be sized between J / 4.75 and M.5 / 6.5. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 8.6 mm wide and stands 7.55 mm tall off the finger.
