Art deco French cut ruby and diamond engagement ring. The ruby in this ring is simply gorgeous! It's rectangular in shape and secured in a milgrain lined bezel. To the top and bottom of the ruby are bead set French cut diamonds in an engraved mounting. The ruby and two diamonds are in a hexagon. From each side is a pear shape with a diamond set into the wider section and a beaded design at the point. The shank pinches in at the end of the diamonds and widens at the back of the band. Circa 1920s - 1930s

Diamonds: 4 total: 3 French cut and 1 single cut replacement, each measuring approx 1.4 - 1.5 mm and totalling approx 0.06 carats together
Stamped 18ct & PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones top set into a platinum top.
