Floral Art Nouveau French silver long guard chain necklace. This fancy link chain has the loveliest design! Beautiful flowers are stylishly designed and framed in large links. Connecting the floral links are sections of oblong links. The terminating ends of the chain are connected to a dog clip, which is just small enough to fasten into the trombone shaped links. This chain is great for layering and can be worn looped around the neck two or three times. Circa 1900s - 1910s, French in origin.

Marked on the terminating jump ring with French marks. Professionally tested and assessed as 800 - 900 silver.

Measures approx 140 cm / 55 inches long. 9 mm wide at floral links and 2.9 mm at oval links.
