Old European cut diamond cluster pendant. I just love clusters! They are incredibly sparkly and look brilliant with jeans or a little black dress. This cluster has a bezel set old European cut diamond to the centre with a halo of eight old European cut diamonds around it. The bezel and outer edges are lined with milgrain beading. We've converted this piece from a late Victorian piece of jewellery. Circa late 19th century diamond cluster with a new bail.
Diamonds: 9, old European cuts. Centre diamond of approx 2.6 mm, 0.06 carats. 8 surrounding diamonds of approx 2.2 mm, 0.03 carats each. Total 0.30 carats, H / I colour, VS2 / SI1 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Not stamped, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold with the diamonds set into a platinum edge.
Measures approx 7.75 mm tall not including the bail by 7.75 mm wide.
Weighs 0.6 grams.
