Gorgeous antique emerald and old cut diamond cluster ring crafted in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum. This early 20th century ring is striking! A centre emerald cut diamond and framed by pairs and trios of diamonds to the north, south, west and east. Between these, at a diagonal pointing inwards toward the centre stone, are four pairs of emeralds. Beading dots the entire top of this ring making it appear as though there are more diamonds. A scalloped edge gives this statement rings a bit of a more fanciful look. The band is attached at three points in a split shank design leading to a D shape profile at the back. This ring is quite showy and would make the perfect cocktail or dress ring. Circa late 19th to turn of the 20th century.
