Filigree diamond engagement ring dating to the Art Deco era. This vintage single stone diamond ring holds a single old European cut. The diamond is set in a stepped bezel style top. Scrolls of filigree fan out below the diamond and are dotted with beaded pattern. The pierced filigree work gives way to an engraved design in a floral style. The engraving is approx 95% of the way around the ring. This white gold diamond engagement ring tapers to a narrow band at the back as is typical for ring of this era. Circa 1930s, North American in origin.
Diamond: old European cut, approx 2.3 mm and calculated in setting as 0.05 carats, in the near colourless and eye-clean range.
Stamped 18K, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat white gold.
Size: UK - F; US - 3; EU - 14. This ring can be sized up to H / 4 / 14,8. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 7.7 mm wide at widest point by 4.85 mm deep. Band tapers to 0.9 mm wide in back centre.
