Vintage platinum ladies diamond wedding ring dating to the Art Deco era. This wedding band is rather unique in design. My own wedding ring is very similar and it's a design I absolutely adore! It's designed as a highly domed band which has been pierced and engraved and set with diamonds all the way around. The design and style are unmistakeably Art Deco and the filigree work is striking. To my eye it resembles an XO pattern with the ten diamonds forming the O's. The miligrain beading is in excellent condition and this ring is ready to grace the finger of it's next owner! Circa mid 1920s to early 1940s, North American in origin.
Diamonds: 10, single cut, approx 0.10 carats as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Not hallmarked, professionally tested and assessed as platinum.
Size: UK - Q.5; US - 8.5; EU - 18,5. Due to design, this ring is not suitable for resizing.
Measures approx 4.85 mm wide by 2 mm deep.
Weighs 2.8 grams.
