Small 9ct gold engraved cross. This decorative religious symbol is designed as a cross and adorned with flower engraving to to the front. To the centre is a single floral blossom with a leaf pattern accenting it. This is a small, delicate and stylish piece which would make a great first communion or confirmation. Dates to the first half of the 20th century, British in origin. Maker's mark of P. Bros, which may be Purcell Bros, a jeweller during the Art Deco. The cross is strung on the chain and cannot currently be removed because of the small size of the bail on the cross pendant.

Stamped 9ct to the back of the cross and 9k on the spring bolt ring. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat yellow gold throughout.

Cross measures approx 2.1 cm / 0.83 inches long not including the jump ring by 1.4 cm / 0.55 inches wide. Chain measures 40 cm / 15.75 inches long.

Weighs 1.15 grams.
