Antique emerald and diamond three stone engagement ring. Old mine cut diamonds flank a beautiful green emerald. The emerald is a step cut, slightly rectangle in shape. The old mine cut diamonds feature very small tables, high crowns and very large open culets. All three gemstones are held in place multiple tiny claws. The band of this ring is on the heavier side and is highly domed as it forms a cathedral style design up to the gemstones. It's lower profile in the back and tapers to become narrower at the back centre. Circa 1900s, British in origin.
Condition is good with eye-clean diamonds, emeralds with typical inclusions, the claws intact, a nice thick shank. There is pitting to the inside and sides of the band at the shoulders where this ring has previously been reshanked.
