Vintage emerald and diamond engagement ring. This ring is set with an emerald cut emerald held by claws at each corner. The emerald is opaque and glowy with inclusions typical of an emerald. Three diamonds are pave set on each shoulder. The band is slender and D shape in profile. This would make a good engagement ring or dress ring. Circa 1930s - 1940s.
Emerald: approx 6.7 mm by 6.25 mm and calculated as 1.30 carats. Light to medium green in colour with inclusions which make it opaque.
Diamonds: 6, single cut, approx 0.03 total carat weight as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 18ct PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat white gold.
Size: UK - J; US - 4.75; EU - 15,5. This ring cannot be made any smaller. It can be sized up to L.5 / 6 / 16,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 7.5 mm wide by 5.45 mm deep. 1.9 mm band.
Weighs 3.2 grams.
