Emerald engagement ring with a frame of diamonds. This Art Deco beauty features a square shaped emerald. The bezel set emerald is lined in milgrain beading and just glows! Framing the emerald is a halo of eight bead set single cut diamonds which glitter from their mounting. The outline of this ring is scallop edged with the metalwork dipping between each of the diamonds giving it a frilly, flowery edge. Along the edge is a single row of milgrain beading. This two-tone ring has platinum topped shoulders so that when it's worn the view from straight on gives the impression of the entire ring being platinum. Below the sloped shoulders is a D shape profile gold band. Circa 1910s - 1920s, British in origin.

Emerald: square in shape, step cut. Measures 4.65 mm by 4.3 mm and calculated in setting as 0.43 carats, shows normal inclusion associated with emeralds.

Diamonds: 8, single cut of 1.25 mm each, approx 0.08 carats total.

Stamped 18ct & PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.

Size: UK - K; US - 5.25; EU - 15,9. This ring can be resized larger, up to O / 7.25 / 17,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.
