Emerald cut emerald set in a simple four claw mounting. This emerald is a light to medium green in colour. The emerald has some visible inclusions, sometimes referred to as jardin, the French work for garden because it looks like a little garden inside the emerald. Wide tab style claw holds each of the corners. A pear shaped gold bail allows a chain, not included, to be threaded through. Circa mid to late 20th century.

Emerald: measures approx 11.9 mm by 9.4 mm and calculated as 4.5 carats within the limits the mountings.

Partial stamp on the back of the mounting, professionally tested and assessed as 14 gold yellow gold.

Measures approx 12.3 mm tall not including the bail.
