Antique sterling silver oval link chain. This piece would have originally been used as a gentleman's chain for a pocket watch, known as a double Albert. This style of piece is still popular and is now often worn by women as a necklace. It's crafted from a series of long oval, trombone shaped links alternating with three smaller round links. The one with full hallmarks may be a replacement. In the centre is a large t-bar. Circa early 20th century.
Hallmarked for sterling silver on the t-bar, date letter for 1910, and on one of the dog clips, date letter for 1907. Each long oval shape link is marked.
