Antique opal and diamond ring dating to the early 20th century. A beautiful cabochon cut opal is bezel set in platinum. to the top and bottom are three bead set diamonds in a scalloped edged mounting. The shape is stunning, beautiful and delicate on the finger. Each shoulder is set with an additional two diamonds, slightly graduated in size. The shape of the mounting follows these diamonds, tapering toward the band. Milgrain beading outlines the opal and the edges around the diamonds. It sparkles wonderfullly. The two tone link of this ring is classic for early 20th century pieces, with the gemstones set in platinum on a gold band. Circa 1900, Britisih in origin.

Opal: measures approx 5.2 mm by 4.1 mm.

Diamonds: 10, eight / single cut and calculated in setting as 0.14 carats total.

Stamped 18ct. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top. Maker's mark of B&K.

Size: UK - M; US - 6.25; EU - 16,4. This ring can be sized between L / 5.75 / 16,25 and P / 7.75 / 18. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 10.4 mm wide by 3.6 mm deep. 1.55 mm band.
