Edwardian era Etruscan Bangle. This early 20th century piece is crafted in 15 carat gold. Across the top is a beautiful and intricate beaded Etruscan design. On the edges graduated beads give way to a twisted rope. Down the centre delicate beadwork swirls creating an arched pattern. In the centre the design meets in a set of five beads which mimic a flower. The top half of this oval bangle is detailed and the back half is unadorned. The design is fully intact. Circa 1900s, British in origin.

The inside contains the maker's mark, HG&S for Henry Griffith & Sons Ltd who first registered in Chester in the 1890s. There is also a patient mark for the type of clasp which they've called a Bolt Snap.

Hallmarked for 15 carat gold, assayed in Chester, date letter for 1906. The safety chain is gold fill.
