
Lovely Edwardian 9 carat gold necklace designed in the lavalier style. A slender gold chain is beautifully set off with vivid green spheres of chalcedony which sit at the collar bones. A larger chalcedony hoop connects both sides of the gold chain with an elongated pear drop with a faceted rock crystal within it drops from the chain. The cap of the drop is delicately adorned with wire work hearts. The gemstones are a delicious apple green in colour which is a perfect accent to the gold. Circa early 20th century, British in origin.
Stamped 9ct on a tag near the terminating jump ring. Professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold.
Measures approx 42 cm / 16.5 inches end to end with 5 cm / 2 inches drop.
