Antique chunky Edwardian sterling silver chain necklace. This double Albert watch chain dating to the early 20th century is a wonderful addition to an antique jewellery lover's wardrobe. Each of the simple curb links are stamped for silver. It's long enough to wear as a chain necklace, making it very wearable for the modern woman. The dog clips are useful to adding charms and pendants. Dates to the turn of the 20th century.

This piece has two sets of hallmarks. The t-bar is 7 years older than that the rest of the chain. We're not sure when it was replaced, but it's perfectly in keeping with the original style and design.

Fully hallmarked for Sterling Silver. Both dog clips are hallmarked for 1903 and the t-bar for 1896. Each link has the lion mark for sterling silver.

Measures approx 42.5 cm / 16.75 inches wearable length. T-bar drops approx 2.5 cm / 1 inch. Curb links are 5.9 mm wide.

Weighs 38.2 grams.
