Antique old cut diamond ring dating to the early 20th century. Five cushion shaped old mine cut diamonds are set in a line across the top of the finger. The adornment in this ring is simply stunning! The centre diamond, an elongated cushion shape, is set in a diamond shape. The flanking diamonds are outlined in a stylised flower and the end diamonds in a pointed geometric arrowhead shape. Dotted all over the top is milgrain beading and faceted beads which weave between the diamonds, outlining their shape and making this ring glitter as it catches the light.

This ring, dating to the early 20th century, 1900 - 1920s, would have originally been an engagement ring. It looks wonderful paired with a slender band and would make a lovely engagement ring for the modern woman as well.

Diamonds: 5, old cut, approx 0.08 carats, near colourless and eye clean as calculated within the limits of the mounting.

Stamped PLAT 1. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat gold band, which is yellow in colour, with the diamonds set in a platinum top.
