Beautiful Edwardian era amethyst and split pearl pendant. Gold wires curve around to form a tapered drop, a subtle heart form. At the top four little split pearls are set into a fleur-de-lis style design with a further two split pearls set into each leaf along the pendant. In the centre is a large oval cut amethyst in a lovely shade of purple. At the base of this pieces all the gold wires come together to form a three petalled design. Circa 1900 - 1910s.

Amethyst: oval in shape, approx 7.2 mm by 5.4 mm.

Split pearls: 12 total, approx 1.4 mm each.

Stamp illegible, professionally tested and assessed as 9 carat gold.

Measures approx 3.4 cm / 1.35 inches long by 2.14 cm / 0.85 inches wide.

Pendant weight 1.58 grams.
