Stunning Edwardian era amethyst and seed pearl pendant. Double rows of 9ct yellow gold squared profile wire are formed into a circle. At the north, south, east and west points are small seed pearls lined with milgrain beading. Accenting the seed pearls are curving scrolls. An articulated bezel set deep purple amethyst hangs in the centre of the circle. From the bottom is a further pearl on narrow wire so that it can swing. Circa 1900 - 1910s.

Seed pearls: 4 total, approx 1.8 mm each. One dangle of approx 5.4 mm

Stamped 9ct, tested and assessed as 9 carat gold.
