Stunning Art Deco style diamond and ruby target earrings. This is just a wonderful design, bright blood red rubies and glittering diamonds. The centre diamond is bezel set, sitting proud in a halo of matching rich red rubies. Framing that is a halo of diamonds in a scalloped edge. The target style look was the height of early 20th century fashion. The contrasting gemstones really pop on the ears. Circa early 21st century, 2000s.
In very good condition. These earrings have an oversized scroll back to keep them upright and facing forward on the ears.
Diamonds: 34 total, 17 in each earring. Approx 0.50 carats total for both earrings, G / H colour, VS2 / SI1 clarity as calculated within the limits of the mounting. Centre measures 2.8 mm is is approx 0.08 carats.
Rubies: 16 total, 8 in each earring, fancy custom cut.
Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in London 2008.
Size: UK - L.5; US - 6; EU - 16,5. This ring can be sized between K / 5.25 / 15,8 and N / 6.75 / 17,1. Sizing available for an additional fee.
