Diamond half hoop wedding ring dating to the mid 20th century. This ring is set with seven forming a line across the top of the finger. Between each of the diamond is a raised diagonal ridge and the entire top is lined in milgrain beading. My favourite part of this ring is the side. It's beautifully hand engraved with a deep scrolling design. The diamonds cover most of the top of the finger and the band is narrower and unadorned. Circa 1970s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 7, single cut, approx 2 mm each to total 0.21 carats, in the near colourless range and eye clean.

Hallmarked for 18 carat gold, assayed in Birmingham, date letter for 1972.

Size: UK - J.5; US - 5; EU - 15,7. Due to style and shape this would be a more difficult to resize and we'd recommend against it.

Measures 3.4 mm wide by 2.35 mm deep. 2.25 mm band.
