Classic diamond engagement ring dating to the mid 20th century. This ring is a real sparkler! A round brilliant cut diamond, measuring just shy of half of a carat, is set in eight small claws. Sloping shoulders hold a further two diamonds in each side, bead set within a beaded pattern designed to provide a bit more sparkle. This ring is two-tone, as was common to the time period, with the diamonds set into white and the band in yellow. Circa mid 1930s - the beginning of the 1950s, British in origin.

Diamonds: 5. Centre round brilliant cut measures approx 5.15 mm and is calculated as 0.45 carats, H / I colour, VS2 clarity within the limits of the mounting. 4 single cut accent diamonds of approx 0.015 carats each to total 0.06 carats together to make a total of 0.51 carats in this ring.

Stamped 18ct PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as mostly 18 carat yellow gold with the prongs and top plate around the accent diamonds in platinum.

Size: UK - L.5; US - 6; EU - 16,5. This ring can be sized between J / 4.75 / 15,5 and O.5 / 7.5 / 17,7

Measures approx 5.7 mm wide by 5.35 mm deep, 1.55 mm band.
