There's nothing quite like a classic wedding ring. This early 20th century slender band is crafted in 14 carat yellow gold. It's highly domed to the exterior with a softened interior to fit comfortably. To the inside is a personal inscription as well as a maker's mark helping us to date this ring to 1918. Just as timeless today as it was over 100 years ago, it's ready to be worn again. Circa 1910s, North American in origin.
In excellent condition with minor age related wear. The interior contains an inscription, "Bill to Peg, 1918" making it over a century old.
Stamped 14k and with an S in a diamond shape. Professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat gold which is yellow in colour. S in an even sided diamond shape is the maker's mark for Schrader - Wittstein Company, a Chicago based jeweller in business during the late Victorian to Art Deco era.
