Vintage blue zircon solitaire engagement ring dating to the mid 20th century. A lovely coloured round cut blue zircon is set in a simple four claw mounting. The shoulders are geometric in shape and flare out from the side of the zircon. A ridged tapered design highlights the shape of the sidestones. I love the retro look of this ring, so very mid century! The shank is a slender D shape profile which is narrowest at the back centre. Circa 1940s - 1950s.

Blue zircon: measures approx 8.4 mm and calculated in setting as 3.4 carats. This zircon has a particularly nice colour, a lovely bright blue.

Diamonds: 2, round brilliant, approx 0.06 carats together.

Stamped 14k, professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat yellow gold.
