Sapphire and diamond vintage cocktail ring dating to the late Art Deco era. Three oval cut blue sapphires are graduated in size. The sapphires are a deep velvety blue in colour. Sixteen transitional cut diamonds are claw set around the sapphires forming a lovely, contrasting halo. The diamonds are various sizes, set to perfection so that they frame the sapphires. This would make a unique engagement ring. It's low profile makes it easy to wear and the multiple gemstones provide all the sparkle and glitter. Or it could easily be a dress or cocktail ring. Circa 1930s - 1940s.
