Vintage Swedish blue enamel locket. This locket is round in shape, puffed, with bright blue guilloche enamel to the front. On the back side it is plain, shiny sterling silver. This locket opens from the top, with the hinge at the bottom, to reveal two sides for holding photographs. The inside is silver gilt, washed with gold, which contrasts beautifully with the blue fabric backing that's been left inside. The frames are a rose gold gilt We've added this locket to a modern sterling silver adjustable trace chain. The locket dates to the first half of the 20th century, the chain is modern.

Swedish hallmarks for silver. Tested as sterling silver throughout.

Measures approx 2.55 cm / 1 inch tall by 2.15 cm / 0.85 inches wide by 0.5 cm deep. We've added this locket to a modern sterling silver chain which is adjustable to either 18 or 20 inches.
