Heart shaped bloodstone ring. This lovely ring is a marriage of an older 15ct gold band with an 18ct gold set heart. The narrow band has been fitted to a gold closed back love heart shape bloodstone. The heart is lovely and large on the finger, a deep green with flecks of red. It's bezel set with the gold band attached to the underside. The 15ct yellow gold band has crisp clear hallmarks for Chester.

This piece is a marriage. The band is fully hallmarked for 1893 and the edge of the heart mounting has a partial mark for 1984. We fell in love with this piece at first sight. We're not sure when they were joined together. The workmanship is good and has been carefully completed.
