Baguette three stone diamond wedding ring dating to the mid 20th century. A straight cut baguette is flanked by tapered baguette cut diamonds which slope down the shoulders. The bar are all bar set, a style which works very well with the step cut diamonds. This is a slender band which is meant to compliment a tapered baguette engagement ring. The setting style gives this ring a smooth and sleek look with no prongs or claws to catch. This style of ring became popular in the 1930s and is still a classic today. Circa 1960s.

The interior retains a hand engraved personal inscription reading, "J.U to L.U 8.17.60". Between the inscription is the maker's mark of Elegance and metal fineness marking of 14K.

Diamonds: 3 total. 2 tapered baguettes of approx 0.065 carats each. 1 straight cut baguette of approx 0.06 carat. Total as calculated within the limits of the mounting: 0.19 carats, G / H colour, VS clarity.

Stamped 14k. Professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat white gold.

Size: UK -K; US - 5.25; EU - 15,9. We'd recommend against resizing this ring. Bar set gemstones are particularly difficult to resize and combined with how far around the finger the diamonds are set and how hard 14k white gold is, resizing would be incredibly tricky.

Measures approx 31.5 mm wide with diamonds set 12.5 mm across and 3.1 mm deep at centre. 1.25 mm at back centre.

Weighs 1.4 grams.
