Antique asymmetrical design Edwardian diamond ring. A centre single cut diamond is set in a diamond cut design and framed in milgrain beading. From either side is a winged design which swirls outward, each end set with a single diamond. Faceted, engraved beads adorn the tapered design leading to each of the diamonds. Milgrain beading lines the edges of the top of the setting. The diamond set diamond is topped in platinum and mounted on a slender 18 carat yellow gold band. Circa 1910s, British in origin.
Diamonds: 5, single cut. Centre is approx 1.75 mm, 0.02 carats. 4 other stones are approx 1.25 mm - 1.3 mm, 0.01 carat each. Total 0.06 carats as calculated within the limits of the mounting.
Stamped 18ct PLAT. Professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the diamonds set into a platinum, engraved top.
Size: UK - J; US - 5; EU - 15,6. This ring can be sized between G.5 / 3.75 / 14,6 and O / 7.25 / 17,5. Sizing available for an additional fee.
Measures approx 6.2 mm by 12.6 mm as it sits on the finger, rises 3.35 mm off the finger at the top. 1.7 mm band at back centre.
