Art Nouveau yellow gold locket featuring the face of a woman. The lady's face is at an angle with a floral design relief background. This locket is circlular in shape, large and flat, and opens by sliding the front and back panels across each other. Inside there is space to hold a single photograph. A photograph can be inserted by cutting it to size and simply pushing it into place. Currently there is an Edwardian era sepia toned photograph inside which is somewhat faded with age. Circa 1910s, likely British in origin.

Marked 9ct on the back and tested as such.

Measures 3.2 cm / 1.25 inches long by 2.6 cm / 1 inch wide and is approx 3.8 mm deep.

Weighs 8.9 grams without the photograph.
