Antique Art Nouveau foliate design pendant and brooch. This 14 carat pendant and brooch is exquisitely designed. The shape is very fluid looking with a wider outer edge. To the interior is a three leafed design terminating at a single bezel set old European cut diamond. On each side is a blue sapphire with curving wire work which flares into an elegant set of leaves. At the bottom is an articulated small seed pearl drop. To the back is a brooch fitting and a pendant loop is hidden at the top, unnoticeable when this is worn as a brooch. Circa early 20th century, possibly Continental European in origin.

In very good condition, wear to the nacre on the seed pearl, nothing else of note.

Diamond: old European cut of approx 3.4 mm, calculated as 0.17 carats, G / H, VS clarity within the limits of the mounting.

Sapphires: 2, each measuring approx 1.9 mm.

Seed pearl drop.

Stamped 585*, professionally tested and assessed as 14 carat gold which is two tone, rose and yellow, in colour.

Measures approx 36.5 mm / 1.45 inches in length by 27.3 mm / 1.08 inches in width.

Weighs 2.8 grams.
