Art Deco diamond line ring. This three stone ring is just the sweetest thing! Three small single cut diamonds are set in a platinum topped rectangle on the finger. Between each of the diamonds is a single row of milgrain beading. An air line (negative space) creates a gap between the white diamonds and the yellow gold larger frame around them. These concentric rectangle make the ring larger on the finger as well providing greater interest and contrast between the colours of the metal. A tapered gold shank is narrow at the top of this ring and widens to a D shape profile in the back.

This ring would have likely been an engagement ring during the late Art Deco era. Diamonds were just becoming more affordable for more people, and the sweet, dainty style was popular. Today it would make a simple easy to wear engagement ring or dress ring depending on the taste of the person wearing it. Our closest friends just had their third child and we love the idea of this being given as a present to represent a completed family. Circa 1930s - 1940s, British in origin.
