Vintage slender wedding ring engraved with a lovely flower pattern. This art deco ring is engraved with single flower blossoms, six in total, space evenly around the exterior. Between them is a simple domed ribbon style pattern. I like the spaced design because the use of negative space really does highlight the little floral design. To the top and bottom is a very fine milgrain beaded pattern. This narrow wedding band has flat sides and is substantial enough to look good on it's own or stacks nicely with others. Circa Art Deco era, 1930s.
In very good condition showing little age related wear to the pattern. The interior also contains a personal inscription reading, "A.J.N. to R.A.N. 12-25-'31". This ring is around 95 years old!
Stamped Σ Wood, 10% IRID PLAT. The sigma and the Wood at the maker's marks, stamped along with the metal fineness. Professionally tested and assessed as platinum. This ring, made by J.R. Wood & Sons, a New York based jeweller in business between the early to late 20th century.
