Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring. A beautiful cornflower blue sapphire is rub over set into a platinum topped ring. Each of the corners of the top of this ring are set with a sparkling single cut diamond. Smaller diamonds are set into the pointed shoulders. Everywhere you look is detailed! A row of milgrain beading accent the sapphire and frames the diamonds on the shoulders. Larger beadwork design along the top and bottom edges of the sapphire glitters when it catches the light. Circa mid 1910s - 1920s, British in origin.
Sapphire: French cut, approx 3 mm by 3.3 mm.
Diamonds: 6, single cut, approx 0.06 carats total as estimated within the limits of the setting.
Stamped 18ct & PT, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the gemstones set into a platinum top.
Size: UK - T; US - 9 1/2; EU - 19.4. This ring can be sized down to O / 7.25 and is not recommended for sizing larger. Sizing available for an additional fee. This ring has previously been sized larger using a slightly different colour gold, as it palm side it does not notice when worn.
Measures approx 6.85 mm by 14.55 mm on top and stands 2.9 mm tall off the finger.
