Antique sapphire and diamond daisy shape cluster ring. Oh how wonderful this ring is! Dating to the Edwardian to Art Deco era, this ring features a royal blue round cut sapphire. The sapphire is bezel set in the middle of a halo of glittering white diamonds. The combination of sapphires and diamonds is one of my favourites, it's so classic but also rarely seen in real life making it a great unique engagement ring. The gemstones are mounted in a white top on a slender gold band. Circa Art Deco, 1920s, British in origin.

In very good condition, some slight thinning to the back of the band from wear, though most of the narrowness is simply down to the style of the time period where finely made jewellery was simply had a delicate aesthetic.

Sapphire: royal blue, round cut, approx 3.9 mm and estimated as 0.22 carats within the limits of the mounting.

Diamonds: 8, single cut, of approx 1.75 mm to 1.8 mm each to total 0.20 carats, near colourless, and eye clean as calculated within the mounting of the mounting,

Stamped PLAT & 18ct. Professionally tested and assessed as mostly 18 carat gold which is yellow in colour by the sapphire set into a platinum bezel.

Size: UK - L.5; EU - 6; EU - 16,5. This ring can be sized down to I.5 / 4.5 / 15,3 and up to O.5 / 7.5 / 17,7. Resizing larger may require a partial reshank which will result in the loss of the internal stamps. Resizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 8.8 mm wide by 3.8 mm tall at sapphire, band is 1.3 mm at back centre.

Weighs 1.9 grams.
