Lovely Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring in a chequerboard style. This unique vintage ring is set with five blue sapphire and four old European cut diamonds in an alternating design. Each of the gems is set into it's own square shape with rows of milgrain beading outlining them. This piece would have likely been an engagement ring during it's time and would make a nice engagement or dress ring today! A narrow gold band tapers up to meet the gem set top and widens to a flat pipe cut shank at the back. Circa 1920s - 1930s, British in origin.

Sapphires: 5, round cut, each approx 1.9 - 2 mm.

Diamonds: 4, old European cut, each approx 1.7 mm to total 0.08 carats together.

Partial stamp of 18ct LAT, professionally tested and assessed as 18 carat yellow gold with the very edge around the gemstones in platinum.

Size: UK - L.5; US - 6; EU - 16,5. This ring can be sized between G / 3.5 / 14,5 and T / 9.5 / 19,3. Sizing available for an additional fee.

Measures approx 8.4 mm across the top by 3.25 mm deep. 2 mm band.
